LEAN ON ME
Bill Withers wrote the following words in his award-winning hit song `Lean 0n Me`.
If there is a load you have to bear that you can't carry
I'm right up the road. I'll share your load. If you just call me.
Lean on me when you're not strong, I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long, 'Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on.

Don’t write off the church too quickly. We`re leaning on Jesus and He has yet to fail us. So, “If there is a load you have to bear that you can't carry” we’re right up the road. Just call us.

Chinese philosopher Laozi is credited for saying, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
Shame and fear have prevented far too many from taking the first step toward harmony with God. But if you are sincere, I can assure you that you will never regret making an effort to approach Him. The Scriptures say, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)

"It takes a village to raise a child". Though the origin of this popular saying is a mystery, it’s meaning is profoundly clear. We may all need some privacy and solitude in our lives from time to time but doing life on your own is not healthy. We live and thrive best in community.
Being part of a church is like being part of a family. There are no perfect families. At times families are dysfunctional and messy, but nothing can replace having a loving Father, Mothers and siblings.
Church families are not perfect either, but nothing can replace having the love, prayers and support from brothers and sisters in Christ.
